Family Assistant

ACLMTE is a full service entertainment staffing agency working with clients all over the country. We are currently seeking an experienced Family Assistant for a full-time role based in Nashville, TN. This position will support a high-profile family and their three young children across childcare, household support, scheduling, and personal assistance.

  • You are able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • You are a creative problem solver who is solution oriented and comfortable figuring things out on your own

  • You are warm, easygoing, grounded, and enjoyable to have in the home

  • You understand how to be helpful without being intrusive

  • You genuinely enjoy being around children for long stretches of time and bring positive energy to the day

  • You are comfortable with changing priorities and understand that some days may be lighter while others may require longer hours and more hands-on support

  • You have a strong service mentality and are always thinking about what you can take off the family's plate

  • You are trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of confidentiality at all times

  • You are comfortable working with high-profile individuals and understand the importance of professionalism and privacy

  • You can easily pivot from a childcare task, to a household management task, to a personal assistant task depending on the need of the moment

  • You understand that this role is a combination of childcare, household support, and personal assistance and are equally comfortable moving between all three

  • You are willing and able to educate young children, creating loose weekly curriculums that are age appropriate, educational and fun

  • You are well versed in the developmental milestones of children and at what ages they should be hitting certain marks — knowledge of tools, toys, workbooks, and other resources that help young children reach these milestones is a plus

  • You love dogs and are comfortable working with them in the home

Regular Tasks for This Role:

  • Providing hands-on support for three young children

  • Confidently handling feedings, bottles, burping, diaper changes, soothing, and basic infant care

  • Washing and sanitizing bottles and pump parts

  • Supporting the parents when multiple children need attention at once

  • Playing with and actively engaging with the children

  • Creating age appropriate activities, games, crafts, outdoor play, and learning opportunities

  • Researching fun activities, recipes, developmental ideas, and age appropriate projects for the children

  • Keeping track of developmental milestones

  • Helping prepare meals and snacks for the children as needed

  • Assisting with school logistics and schedules as needed

  • Helping keep the kitchen and common areas tidy throughout the day

  • Taking out trash and recycling

  • Breaking down boxes and managing household deliveries

  • Helping maintain organization throughout the home

  • Monitoring household supplies and assisting with restocking as needed

  • Coordinating household vendors and service providers including landscapers, repair technicians, gutter cleaning, and other household maintenance

  • Researching and sourcing the best local vendors and services without requiring step by step direction

  • Managing household projects from research through completion

  • Assisting with errands and miscellaneous household needs

  • Helping prepare the home before the family's arrival or handling projects while they are traveling

  • Assisting with personal and professional scheduling and calendar management for the principal's business engagements as well as for the family

  • Providing reminders for meetings, calls, appointments, and commitments

  • Making sure the principals have necessary links, addresses, details, and logistics ahead of scheduled events

  • Helping coordinate appointments and personal obligations

  • Assisting with travel logistics as needed

  • Providing additional support when parents are traveling for work

  • Occasionally traveling with the family

Skills / Experience / Education

  • Significant professional experience working with young children including infants is required

  • Previous experience as a Family Assistant, Nanny, Household Manager, Personal Assistant, or similar private service role strongly preferred

  • Strong communication skills

  • Exceptional judgment and common sense

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

  • CPR / First Aid certification required

  • Must be local to Nashville

  • Genuinely enjoys being of service and takes pride in supporting a family

  • Must bring a calm, confident, and steady presence to the home

  • Experience in a high profile home is a bonus

Compensation & Benefits

  • $80,000–$100,000 annually, hourly structure with guaranteed hours

  • Overtime paid for hours worked over 40
