Family Assistant/Nanny to High Profile Entertainer

ACLMTE is a full service entertainment staffing agency working with clients all over the country. We are currently in search of a Family Assistant/Nanny for a high profile entertainer based in Nashville. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Nashville requiring exceptional discretion, organizational skills, and experience in a nanny and family support role.

Regular Tasks for This Role (includes but are not limited to):

  • Assist with the care, supervision of one child

  • Oversee coordination of child’s scheduling

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, reliable and positive presence within the home

  • Manage school drop-offs/pickups and transportation to activities and appointments

  • Coordinate and maintain the child’s daily schedule, calendar and routing

  • Assist with homework, meal/snack prep and after school routines

  • Take initiative to plan and coordinate engaging extracurricular and recreational activities during school breaks and after school hours (parks, museums, playdates, camps, etc)

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, teachers, caregivers, coaches and other family contacts

  • Support healthy structure, routines and emotional consistency 

  • Educate the child on manners and correct them when necessary

  • Correct the child’s behavior when needed and implement parent approved consequences

  • Assist with maintaining overall household organization and flow

  • Handle household laundry

  • Light housekeeping

  • Running various errands for the household

  • Grocery shopping and making sure the kitchen is regularly stocked

  • Making sure essential items for the child and  throughout the house are always stocked

  • Traveling with the family as needed

  • Assist with packing and unpacking for family travel

  • Help coordinate travel logistics, itineraries and child-related travel needs

  • Maintain routines and organizations while traveling

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with others members of the team including, but not limited to, personal/executive assistants, management, business management, household vendors, cleaning crews, chefs and additional staff

  • Maintain professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times

  • Proactively anticipate needs of the household and assist in creating a calm, organized environment

Skills/Experience/Education

  • A minimum of five years of experience as a family assistant or nanny is required

  • Previous experience working with high-profile, celebrity, or entertainment industry families is a strong bonus

  • Current certifications in CPR & First Aid must be completed

  • Must have a clean driving record

  • Strong Critical Thinking Skills

  • Innate ability to read the room

  • Genuinely enjoys being of service

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to be flexible with scheduling

  • Comfortable with Google Calendar, Google Workspace and general smartphone and texting platforms

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full time, Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends, flexibility is KEY 

  • $75,000-95,000
