Nanny Educator

ACLMTE is a full service entertainment staffing agency working with clients all over the country. We are currently seeking an experienced Nanny Educator for a live-out, flexible role based in Nashville, TN. This position will support a busy family with two boys ages 9 and 11, blending homeschool education and nanny responsibilities throughout the week. The ideal candidate has a strong teaching background, a patient and structured approach, and a genuine passion for working with children in a dynamic, creative home environment.

Regular Tasks for This Role (includes but is not limited to):
Delivering homeschool curriculum and educational support for a 3rd grader and 5th grader
Tailoring teaching approaches to each child's individual learning style and needs
Supporting the 11 year old's strengths in math and science with enriching, advanced material
Providing patient, structured support for the 9 year old including strategies for focus and attention
Incorporating music appreciation and practice support for Cello and Violin into the weekly routine
Encouraging and facilitating art and creative expression as part of the educational program
Planning and executing educational outings that align with current lessons
Managing and enforcing screen time boundaries in accordance with parent guidelines
Implementing a rewards based system consistently and fairly
Transportation to and from extracurricular activities including soccer and Jiu Jitsu
Assisting with the overall care and supervision of both children throughout the day
Maintaining daily routines, structure, and consistency across both educational and nanny days
Communicating regularly and professionally with parents regarding progress, behavior, and scheduling
Traveling with the family as needed including summer travel in June and July
Assisting with light household tasks and maintaining overall household organization and flow
Running household errands as needed
Helping to keep essential household items stocked
Supporting family during special occasions and events as needed
Skills / Experience / Education
A formal teaching background or education degree is strongly preferred
Prior experience working with neurodivergent children, including those with ADHD, is required
Prior experience as a nanny, family assistant, or in a similar childcare role is preferred
Experience with Waldorf, integrative, or alternative education models is a strong plus
Multilingual candidates encouraged to apply — Spanish fluency is especially valued
Strong understanding of 3rd and 5th grade curriculum and learning benchmarks
Ability to create engaging, structured lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs
Comfortable working across both educational and childcare capacities
Strong classroom or home management skills with the ability to provide firm, kind structure
Energetic and able to match the pace of two active, sports loving boys
Comfortable using personal vehicle for outings and transportation
CPR and First Aid certification required
Clean driving record required
Must be willing to complete a background check
Schedule
Monday & Wednesday: 4:00pm–8:30pm
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 9:00am–4:00pm
Occasional weekends as needed
Live-out position
Compensation & Benefits
$45–$60 per hour depending on experience
Mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicle
